Dr. Peter Ramos Silva
Rev. Dr. Peter Ramos is an Ordained Minister serving the
Passaic County Christian Center (www.pcccministries.com)
family as Senior Pastor. He is one of the
co-founding members of the church.
In recent years, Dr. Ramos has served the tri-state area in
many areas of service. He was the Founder and President of
“Impacto Juvenil Internacional”, a para-church
ministry reaching out to youth. He served as host and
director of a weekly radio program in Radio Vision Cristiana
Internacional, reaching the young audience of the New York
tri-state area as well as Central & South America and the
Caribbean. He has served as Youth Pastor and Bible Institute
Teacher.
His teachings and preachings have taken Dr. Ramos to
countries such as Mexico, Puerto Rico, Panama, Guatemala,
Venezuela and the Dominican Republic. His articles have been
published by newspapers and magazines, Christian and
non-Christian alike. He has written numerous books and study
manuals and is a featured columnist in various periodicals.
Dr. Ramos has a Doctorate Degree in Christian Counseling. He has a
Ministerial Diploma from the Latin American Bible Institute
in New York, and a Graduate Diploma from the Great
Commission Bible Institute. He has completed the Pastoral
Care Awareness Training Course at Blanton-Peale Institute of
Religion and Health. He has received a Certificate in
Marriage and Family Therapy. He is a member of the American
Association of Christian Counselors and a member of the
American Association of Christian Therapists. Dr. Ramos has
received numerous awards and citations from governmental,
civic, and religious and community agencies for his work in
community development.
Dr. Ramos is the proud father of three children: Priscilla,
Peter Jr. and Pearl and the grandfather of a two loving
grandsons: Maddox Samuel and Micah Peter.
