LIFE EXPERIENCE AND TRANSFER CREDITS (Requirements)

The Christian University grants Life Experience units to students who submit valid proof of their experience and other studies. An evaluation will be done of all the documents and transcripts submitted and the student receives in writing the amount of units granted. Students will not be charged for transfer units from other learning institutions. They will only be charged for Life Experience units granted by The Christian University.

Every student who desires to receive credit for their Life Experience and other studies must submit documentation to verify their experience, to include the following, if applicable:

A Resume of Work and Ministry Experience
Official Transcripts from other learning instructions (religious or secular)*
Letters of Recommendation
Certificates, Diplomas, Awards, News Articles, etc.
Books, Articles written by you
Missionary Trips
Pastoral and Leadership Ministry


Life Experience and Evaluation Fees:

Evaluation Application: $ 50.00 (one time non-refundable fee)
Life Experience Units: $10.00 per Unit
Example: 30 Units x $ 10.00 = $ 300.00
30 Units is the equivalent of one year of study ($1,265.00), a savings of $ 965.00.

All documents must be submitted at the same time. The university does not accept incomplete files.

We highly recommend that students submit all the information by the third class. Payments may be spread out into three equal payments. The $ 50.00 Evaluation Fee must be submitted with the Life Experience Application and the documents.


*Transcripts must be originals.
