ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS
Certificate in Biblical Studies
Description: This program allows the
participant to receive college-level courses without
having to continue on to the Bachelors program.
Although a High School Diploma or GED is not
required for a Certificate in Biblical Studies, it
is recommended that the student work on obtaining
his/her GED so that if desired, he/she may go on to
the degree program.
Admission Requirements:
1.
Complete the Application for Admission and submit it
with the $100.00 non-refundable registration fee.
2. Complete
10 seminars and submit a 3-page, typed report for
each course taken in order to complete the program.
Associates in Theology
Description: This program is designed for
students that want to deepen their study of the
scriptures and desire to acquire a better
understanding of the Word. Although a High School
Diploma or GED is not required for this 2-year
Certificate Program in Biblical Studies, it is
recommended that the student work on obtaining
his/her GED so that if desired, he/she may go on to
the degree program.
Admission Requirements:
1. Complete
the Application for Admission and submit it with the
$100.00 non-refundable registration fee.
2. Student
must have completed the Certificate in Biblical
Studies program or have obtained a minimum of 30
credits through life experience.
3. Must
complete 10 seminars and submit a 3-page, typed
report for each course taken in order to complete
the program.
4. Must
read the four assigned Required Readings and submit
a 3-page report on each book read.
Ministerial Diploma
Description: Upon completion of this program,
the student will possess the equivalent of three (3)
years in a Bible Institute. Upon successful
completion of the program, the student will have the
foundation of basic Christian truths and church
teachings.
Admission Requirements:
1. Complete
the Application for Admission and submit it with the
$100.00 non-refundable registration fee.
2. Student
must have completed the Associates in Theology or
have obtained a minimum of 60 credits through life
experience.
3. Must
complete 10 seminars and submit a 3-page, typed
report for each course taken in order to complete
the program.
Bachelors in Theology
Description: This degree program offers the
participant a higher level of theological studies.
Admission Requirements:
1. Complete
the Application for Admission and submit it with the
$100.00 non-refundable registration fee.
2. Student
must have received the Ministerial Diploma or have
obtained a minimum of 60 credits through life
experience and an additional 30 credits in
transferable credit from an approved institution.
3. Must
complete 10 seminars and submit a 5-page, typed
report for each course taken in order to complete
the program.
4. Must
read the four assigned Required Readings and submit
a 3-page report on each book read.
5. Must
prepare and submit a 30-page thesis on a topic
related to the degree desired.
Masters in Theology
Description: The degree of Masters in Theology
has been designed for students who wish to obtain a
post-graduate degree in theology. The purpose of
the program is to provide general education in
theology and can also be used as a basis to
concentrate on one of the specialized programs
offered by The Christian University.
Admission Requirements:
1. Complete
the Application for Admission and submit it with the
$100.00 non-refundable registration fee.
2. Student
must have received a Bachelors Degree from an
approved institution.
3. Must
complete 10 seminars and submit a 7-page, typed
report for each course taken in order to complete
the program.
4. Must
read the four assigned Required Readings and submit
a 3-page report on each book read.
5. Must
prepare and submit a 50-page thesis on a topic
related to the degree desired.
Masters in Christian Counseling
Description: The degree of Masters in Christian
Counseling has been designed for students who wish
to obtain a post-graduate degree in Christian
Counseling. It is designed for all those wishing to
continue their course of study and eventually pursue
a Doctorate in Christian Counseling.
Admission Requirements:
1. Complete
the Application for Admission and submit it with the
$100.00 non-refundable registration fee.
2. Student
must have received a Masters Degree from an approved
institution.
3. Must
complete 10 seminars and submit a 7-page, typed
report for each course taken in order to complete
the program.
4. Must
read the four assigned Required Readings and submit
a 3-page report on each book read.
5. Must
prepare and submit a 50-page thesis on a topic
related to the degree desired.
DOCTORATE IN MINISTRY
Description: The degree of Doctorate in
Ministry has been designed for students who wish to
obtain a degree with an emphasis in Christian
Ministry. The purpose of the program is to provide
general education in theology and can also be used
as a basis to concentrate on one of the specialized
doctoral programs offered by The Christian
University.
Admission Requirements:
1. Complete
the Application for Admission and submit it with the
$100.00 non-refundable registration fee.
2. Student
must have received a Masters Degree in Theology from
an approved institution. Should the candidate have
a Masters Degree in any other area, or not have a
background in theology, he/she must first obtain a
Masters in Theology before entering the Doctorate
Program.
3. Must
complete 10 seminars and submit a 10-page, typed
report for each course taken in order to complete
the program.
4. Must
read the four assigned Required Readings and submit
a 3-page report on each book read.
5. Must
prepare and submit a 100-page thesis on a topic
related to the degree desired.
DOCTORATE IN THEOLOGY
Description: The degree of Doctorate in
Theology has been designed for students who wish to
obtain a degree with an emphasis in Theology. The
purpose of the program is to provide advanced
education in theology.
Admission Requirements:
1. Complete
the Application for Admission and submit it with the
$100.00 non-refundable registration fee
2. Must
complete 10 seminars and submit a 15-page, typed
report for each course taken in order to complete
the program.
3. Must
read the four assigned Required Readings and submit
a 3-page report on each book read.
4. Must
prepare and submit a 150-page thesis on a topic
related to the degree desired.
5. Pre-requisite:
All applicants desiring to enter the Doctorate in
Theology Program must have completed the Doctorate
in Ministry prior to admission.
6. Pre-requisite:
All applicants wishing to enter the Doctorate in
Theology Program must have a Masters Degree in
Theology from an approved institution of learning.
This requirement may be substituted with 3-5 years
ministry experience.
DOCTORATE IN CHRISTIAN COUNSELING
Description: The degree of Doctorate in
Christian Counseling has been designed for students
who wish to obtain a degree with an emphasis in
Christian Counseling. The purpose of the program is
to provide advanced education in pastoral care and
equip the participant with the tools necessary to
understand human development and behavior to allow
him/her to provide biblical counseling to
parishioners.
Admission Requirements:
1. Complete
the Application for Admission and submit it with the

2. Must
complete 10 seminars and submit a 15-page, typed
report for each course taken in order to complete
the program.
3. Must
read the four assigned Required Readings and submit
a 3-page report on each book read.

DOCTORATE IN CHURCH ADMINISTRATION
Description: The degree of Doctorate in Church
Administration has been designed for students who
wish to obtain a degree with an emphasis in Church
administration. The purpose of the program is to
provide advanced education in the day to day
operations of the church as it pertains to the
business aspect of the ministry.
Admission Requirements:
1. Complete
the Application for Admission and submit it with the
$100.00 non-refundable registration fee
2. Must
complete 10 seminars and submit a 15-page, typed
report for each course taken in order to complete
the program.
3. Must
read the four assigned Required Readings and submit
a 3-page report on each book read.
4. Must
prepare and submit a 150-page thesis on a topic
related to the degree desired.

All applicants wishing to enter the Doctorate in
Church Administration must have a Doctorate in
Ministry Degree from an approved institution of
learning.
HONORARY DOCTORATE IN DIVINITIES
Description: An honorary degree is an
extra-ordinary
academic degree
awarded to an individual as a
decoration,
rather than as the result of
matriculating
and studying for several years in the university. An
honorary degree may be conferred to a recipient that
never attended the university. The degree is
conferred with great pomp and ceremony as a way of
honoring a famous or distinguished visitor.
The
Honorary Doctorate Degree is usually awarded at
regular
graduation
ceremonies, at which the recipient is often invited
to make a speech of acceptance before the assembled
faculty
and graduates. Generally, the Board of Directors of
the university will nominate several persons each
year for honorary degrees, and these may go through
several
committees
before receiving approval. Those who are nominated
are generally not told until a formal approval and
invitation are made.
In the
ranks of the Christian Church, there exist a large
number of worthy men and women who have given their
lives to the New Testament plan of salvation.
Although they may not have achieved secular
educational levels to graduate with a degree, they
have achieved a great knowledge in the Word of God.
These men and women have chosen to represent the
Kingdom of God in a world that despises truth and
praises secularism. Leadership comes with a price.
Those who do not fall by the way side into false
doctrine or who do not self-destruct by following
after every wind of doctrine, have become examples
of faithfulness. These pay the price during many
years of hardships and struggles. This deserves
honor!
Faithfulness is the high ethical character of men
and women who will not compromise with sin or will
not bow to pressure and quit. The Christian
University desires to recognize those individuals
who have met the challenges and are victorious. To
accomplish a part of our goals and objectives to
continue nurturing an intelligent faith, and to
uphold those influences that encourage the
development of Christian character, we take
applications from men and women of God who feel an
Honorary Doctorate Degree in Divinities would be a
blessing in their lives. If you meet the following
criteria, you may submit your application for
acceptance into our Honorary Doctorate Degree
Program:
Requirements:
1. Candidate
must be over the age of 40.
2. Must
have been in ministry for over a considerable length
of time.
3. Must
obtain testimony from at least five individuals who
will recommend the candidate for an Honorary
Doctorate Degree.
4. Must
be willing to be interviewed by the Board of
Director of the university. (This may be done
by phone conference if available.
5. Must
be willing to pay the assigned fee the processing of
the application and issue of the degree.
